Canada's celebration of arts, culture, and heritage
This year, the national Culture Days celebration takes place from September 19 to October 12, 2025. Thousands of free events are presented in hundreds of communities across Canada, welcoming millions of participants to create, share, and celebrate a life enriched by arts and culture.
Culture Days encourages the public to discover and champion the importance of arts and culture in their communities, and inspire year-round support of local artists, creators and organizations.
Anyone can organize an event and participate in Culture Days! From grassroots community volunteers, public libraries, and independent artists and collectives to major arts, culture, heritage institutions, specialty festivals, and municipalities—everyone is invited to join the celebration!

Golden Helmets & Local Heroes
Loyalist Township is proudly hosting the Ontario Provincial Police Golden Helmets Precision Motorcycle Team for a thrilling performance that celebrates skill, service, and community spirit.
As part of Culture Days 2025, Golden Helmets & Local Heroes is more than just a show — it’s a hands-on celebration of our local emergency services. Families and people of all ages are invited to explore interactive displays and activities hosted by our local firefighters, police officers, and paramedics. Learn how these everyday heroes serve and protect our community through engaging demos, equipment tours, and fun educational experiences. Family-friendly activities, live music, food, and more!

- Touch-a-truck & emergency service vehicle tours
- Meet-and-greets with local first responders
- Art activities with MULU Mobile Art Studio

Free parking will be available at Bath Public School with a free shuttle service going to and from the event at Centennial Park.

More on the OPP Golden Helmets Precision Motorcycle Team
The OPP Golden Helmets Precision Motorcycle Team is the special guest at this year’s Culture Day celebration. The Team tours Ontario every year and showcases their superb riding skills in a 30-minute performance featuring complex patterns and manoeuvres. They all ride Harley Davidson Police Specials—the same motorcycles used in active patrol. The team has 20 front-line officers, a Ride Master, commentator, and motorcycle technician.
Each team member undergoes rigorous training, including a three-week motorcycle course, a season of patrol duty, and must earn the Ontario Police Fitness Pin. First formed in 1963, the Golden Helmets continue to thrill audiences at fairs, festivals, and parades across Ontario.
Art with MULU Mobile Art Studio
Mulu Mobile Art Studio curates creative arts programming and experiences and delivers these directly to the doorsteps of community events, schools, local landmarks and anywhere in the community in need of uplifting, connective customized arts programming for all ages and stages. Mulu was founded by Jennifer Higgs, artist, instructor, and developer of uplifting creative curriculum for the artist in all of us.
Art activities include Mixed Media Paper Portraits, Paint my Hero Portraits on Canvas, Big Hero Banner, and Community Hero Mosaic
Volunteer at this event
Community events are not possible without the help of volunteers. Donate your time by joining the volunteer team for this year's celebration. We are looking for volunteers aged 14 years and over to lend a helping hand at this event.
Volunteer opportunities include:
