Significant Weather Event Declared

Loyalist Township, in conjunction with the County of Lennox and Addington, is declaring a significant weather event in the municipality, as defined within the Minimum Maintenance Standards O.Reg. 239/02.  

During the significant weather event, Loyalist Township advises motorists, pedestrians and residents to use extra caution as the municipality may not be able to meet its maintenance standards for roads, pathways, and sidewalks due to the potential of freezing rain and high winds followed by snow.

 In the event of an after hours emergency, involving roads, water/sewer service, or a Township facility - please call 613-507-3069

2025 Holiday Collection Schedule

Garbage and recycling collection schedules will be affected during the weeks of December 22 and December 29. Collection will occur one day earlier for all routes.

Zone 1 (regular collection day is Tuesday) will be collected on Monday, December 22 and Monday, December 29. 

Zone 2 (regular collection day is Wednesday) will be collected on Tuesday, December 23 and Tuesday December 30. 

Zone 3 (regular collection day is Thursday) will be collected on Wednesday, December 24 and Wednesday, December 31.

Pick up a free ornament supply kit and get crafty while having fun making homemade decorations. Then visit a tree and add your decoration for all to enjoy!
