Step back in time this March Break! Join us at the Fairfield Gutzeit House for a look inside this beautiful historic home, followed by hands-on activities the whole family can enjoy.

March of the Museums at the Bath Museum
Calling all young artists and curious creators! Spend your March Break at the Bath Museum with a fun, interactive art workshop inspired by local history. From 10:00 - 12:00 Mulu Art will be there leading a craft activity and from 12:00 - 3:00 visitors will get their hands in some clay!

Feel the rhythm this March Break! Experience a powerful drumming performance and take part in an interactive activity celebrating Indigenous culture, music, and storytelling. This meaningful and engaging program is a great way for families to learn together in a welcoming space.

Braiding Sweet Grass for Young Adults
This special community event is led by the Limestone District School Board (LDSB) Indigenous Education team, in partnership with the Limestone Learning Foundation and Queen’s University’s Faculty of Education.
Internationally renowned Indigenous author Monique Gray Smith will provide an in-person public talk inspired by her book, Braiding Sweetgrass for Young Adults, an adaptation of Braiding Sweetgrass by Robin Wall Kimmerer.

Kids Pickleball
Kids Pickleball will provide a fun and supportive environment for young players to develop their pickleball skills, while fostering a love for physical activity, and promoting overall fitness.

Community Tree Initiative
Loyalist Township is excited to launch the Community Tree Initiative again this year, doubling the number of trees available to our community to 250. This initiative offers residents the opportunity to purchase a tree at a discounted price of $25 to be planted on their own property.

Loyalist Township E-Waste, Battery, Textile & Food Drive
Loyalist Township hosts reoccurring electronic waste and household battery recycling drive to encourage the responsible disposal of electronic waste and protect the environment. Community partners will once again join forces to collect gently used textiles and non-perishable food items, in partnership with the Loyalist Community Sharing Centre and the Amherstview Lions Club.

Community Clean Up
Loyalist Township will host a week‑long Community Cleanup initiative during Earth Week, encouraging residents to actively participate in removing litter and debris from public spaces across the Township.

Join us at the Bath Museum for a Culture Talk highlighting a beautiful local collection of historic artifacts and the stories they tell. Lifelong collector and local historian Michael MacKinnon will share highlights from his personal collection, explaining how these carefully preserved artifacts reflect daily work, family life, and Bath's early years

Learn the art of treat decorating! This entertaining workshop offers an opportunity to create fun, exciting food that focuses on a central theme. This workshop will be focused on Mother’s Day, and creating special chocolates for you to give away or keep to yourself, and this workshop will show you the steps to make yours stand out!

Visit the Babcock Mill Historic Site
The beautiful and historic Babcock Mill is located on the banks of the Millhaven Creek in the village of Odessa. This picturesque property is the perfect location for an afternoon play at the natural play structure or a stroll along the newly developed path, topped off with a picnic on the grass overlooking the creek.

Visit the Bath Museum
Originally built in 1861 as the Town Hall of Bath, the site is now a treasured historic property designated under the Canada Heritage Act. Exhibits take you on a journey of our cherished history from pre-colonial times all the way to World War II, beginning with an archaeological history of the First Nations in this region.

Visit the Fairfield-Gutzeit House
The Fairfield-Gutzeit House is situated along the Loyalist Parkway waterfront, on a beautiful property that overlooks Lake Ontario, in the quaint village of Bath. The House dates back to 1796 and was designated in 1992 as a Part IV designation. It also holds an easement with the Ontario Heritage Trust from 1998.

Little Kickers
Introduce your preschooler to the game of soccer! This program will foster a love of soccer through the development of fun side games and activities. We will begin to work on agility, balance, coordination and basic soccer techniques.

Culture Talks
Join us at the Bath Museum on May 25 as the age of sail and steam on the Great Lakes comes alive in David Archibald's Spirit of the Inland Sea — a collection of original songs about our freshwater marine heritage.
