Donated land
In November of 2021, Township Council accepted a parcel of gifted waterfront property from Dale and Eloise Gowan. This donated parcel of property is situated along Front Road across from Amherst Island Public School.
Consultation session
The Township is inviting residents to a drop-in public consultation to provide input regarding the future use/development of this donated parcel of land. Feedback from this consultation session will be considered as part of the development of the Township’s new 10-year Parks and Recreation Master Plan.
Stop by the Amherst Island Public School on May 30 between 6:30-7:30 p.m. to speak with Township staff and to share your thoughts.
