Back Beach
Please note that Back Beach is primarily owned by Nut Island Farms Limited with one portion of the property jointly owned by Loyalist Township and Nut Island Farms Limited. The use of Back Beach is restricted in the terms of a joint legal agreement under By-law 99-15.
The Beach may be used by the public for family recreational purposes between January 1 to midnight on Labour Day. Between Labour Day and December 31, Nut Island Farms has exclusive use of the Beach.
Loyalist Township advises that public use of Back Beach is prohibited effective Labour Day (September 2, 2024) to December 31, 2024. Nut Island Farms Limited has exclusive use of the Beach during this time. Violators may be prosecuted by Nut Island Farms Limited and/or Loyalist Township.
