On-Site Sewage Systems are enforced by Loyalist Township with the authority granted by the Ontario Building Code Act.
It is recommended that the applicant refer to the Ontario Building Code for the current construction requirements. It will be necessary, at minimum, to reference Part 8 of the Ontario Building Code to complete all calculations required to design a sewage system, you may also reference the Application Guide outlined below to assist in understanding the design requirements.

| For information regarding existing sewage systems, please fill out the application and return to the building department with payment. Please note that a file search can take up to 14 business days granted there is sufficient information provided. |
