11:30am to 12:15pm | Third Time's a Charm |
Third Time’s a Charm (TTC) is one of the most exciting bands to emerge from Eastern Ontario’s burgeoning next-gen rock scene. Formed in 2023, and based out of Napanee, band members have participated in numerous summer festivals and have headlined Youth Rock Showcases at venues in Napanee and Kingston including The Hotel Wolfe Island, the Tir Nan Og Irish Pub, and the Blu Martini. TTaC was chosen as the opening act for The Wilderness’ first show at Doghouse Studios in Napanee, and the band will release its debut single, produced in partnership with Evergreen Recording Co (Kingston), in May. The lineup includes Ryland Murray (vocals, guitar), Joe Hauser (guitar), Brock Pettifer (drums), and Isaac Harvey (bass, keys). |
12:15pm to 1:15pm | Switzerville Sound |
Switzerville Sound is the first youth band to emerge from the Harmony Lounge & Music Club. The band performs covers of a wide range of tunes from across the many decades of rock and roll and has started to branch out with some seriously bluesy original tunes. Switzerville has participated in numerous Youth Rock Showcases at venues in Napanee and Kingston including The Hotel Wolfe Island, the Tir Nan Og Irish Pub, and the Princess Street Promenade. The lineup includes students from Napanee District Secondary School: Jade Peter (vocals), Adam Chadwick (guitar) Julia MacDermaid (Bass), Owen MacMillan (drums). The future of rock is in good hands with these young rock-and-rollers. |
1:15pm to 1:45pm | The Blue Doors |
The Blue Doors formed in 2003 after a week-long March Break Rock Skool intensive at the Harmony Lounge & Music Club. The lineup has changed over the past year, but the current members—Wyatt McKain (vocals), Myles Chadwick (guitar), Norah Feeney (drums), Myah Murphy (bass) and Owen Harwtick (piano)—continue to work on a repertoire of covers and their first original song. The band has performed at the Princess Street Promenade, and at Napanee’s Market Square for 2023 Culture Days. |
2:00pm to 4:00pm | Ryan Malcolm & Low Level Flight |
Low Level Flight are a Canadian band whose members comprise Ryan Malcolm (vocals, acoustic guitar), Shaun Noronha (bass, vocals), James Rooke (rhythm guitar, vocals), Hugh Allen (lead guitar) and Brandon Merenick (drums). Their debut album, Urgency, released in Canada in 2007 on Malcolm’s own I Heart Records, features the singles Say and Change For Me, which climbed the radio charts and spawned 2 Top 40 singles on Canadian Radio and 3 #1 videos on MuchMoreMusic . The band spent much of their career touring Europe, Asia and North America. Having shared the stage with the likes of Bon Jovi, Interpol and The Trews, LLF are thrilled to be performing together for the first time in over 10 years for Bath's Canada Day Celebration. |
