The Township is creating a new Parks and Recreation Master Plan!
Since 2017, we have experienced exponential growth and changing demographics. Community expectations for parks, recreation infrastructure and services are rapidly changing and evolving. A new Parks and Recreation Master Plan "A Decade of Play" is in the works and will allow the Township to strategically manage the direction of parks and recreation including infrastructure and services for the next 10 years.
The development of the plan will be based on public input, surveys, planning initiatives, existing development, physical characteristics, and more. We want your input early in the process.

What is a Parks and Recreation Master Plan?
The Parks and Recreation Master Plan is a 10-year plan that guides the development, renewal and management of indoor and outdoor recreation facilities, programs, sports fields, parks, trails and other green spaces to meet the needs of the growing Loyalist Township.
