The Amherstview Community Hall at 177 Upper Park Road, Amherstview, is available to rent for fundraisers, private parties, weddings, baby showers, and more.
Booking the hall
Please complete the Facility Rental Request Form if you are interested in booking a facility. For more information and facility availability, please contact Recreation & Facilities (right side of page).
Include your total time
When booking the hall, you must include the total time that is needed. This includes setting up, decorating and cleaning up after your event.
Occupancy
Maximum occupancy is 200 but 149 for events where alcohol is being served.
Rental fees
All Community Hall bookings are subject to insurance rates, which vary by age, group size and activity.
Current Amherstview Community Hall fees and be found in Schedule F (Recreation Services Division) of the Miscellaneous Fees and Charges Amended By-law 2024-53.
Serving alcohol
For functions where alcohol will be served, you must provide a certificate of insurance with five million dollars liability coverage. The insurance certificate needs to name “The Corporation of Loyalist Township” as an additional insured. You also need to have a special occasion permit and proof of Smart Serve certification for anyone serving alcohol. Please refer to the Municipal Alcohol Policy for more information.
