Market Guidelines
Vendor booth | ||||
Each vendor booth will be 12 feet by 12 feet. Vendors may purchase multiple sites if needed. Vendors are responsible for supplying their own tables, chairs, and shade tents. Please note that shade tents must be "weighted" down and not pegged in any way. Use of pegs is not allowed on park grounds. |
Confirmation of site location
A few weeks prior to the event, the Vendor Coordinator will email vendors their site allocations and provide a site map. |
Waste removal | ||||
Vendors are responsible for removing their waste from the site. |
Portable generators | ||||
Vendors may provide their own portable generators when required. Generators must be quiet and intended for portable use. Fuel for the generator must be stored in containers intended for fuel and must be kept away from the generator. Vendors planning to use a portable generator must indicate this on their application form. If notice is not provided ahead of time, use of a portable generator may be denied at the event. Vendors using a portable generator must also have the appropriate type of fire extinguisher. |
Dogs and other pets | ||||
Vendors should not bring dogs or other pets to the market. Registered service animals are exceptions. |
Product duplication | ||||
Event organizers will try to keep a balanced mix of vendors. Vendors should contact the Vendor Coordinator before sending in an application if there are any concerns about duplication. |
Loading/unloading and vendor parking
Vendors may drive to their site to unload when practical. If the ground is too soft to accommodate vehicles, vendors must unload and reload from the street. |
Cancellations and refunds
Cancellations received before May 31 will be refunded in full, less an administration fee. Cancellations after May 31 will not be refunded. All cancellations must be made in writing to the Heritage, Culture and Tourism Division. Please provide the reasons for cancellation, mailing address and full business name, and allow four to six weeks for processing. |

No refunds will be given to vendors who do not show up on the day or who leave early. |
